Hi! I'm Ryan and I'm a UI designer. However, I also do front-end and UI development as well. I use Figma to create designs and concepts and use either React (at work) or Vue (on my own projects) to bring those designs to life.
To me, design and development go hand-in-hand. I really enjoy designing something, and then shifting gears to bring that design to life with code, and ultimately seeing the final product displayed on a screen that users can interact with. I'm always looking for ways to improve my workflow, make it more efficient, as well as "future-proofing" it in order to make it .
Outside of designing and developing, I enjoy learning about Linux. I also like to further my knowledge about development (right now I'm currently learning how to work with databases and APIs, as well as learning to make videos with Remotion). I'm also an enjoyer of open-source projects as well and enjoy spending time finding fun projects on GitHub and GitLab. I also enjoy appreciating the design of different cars (especially race cars) and watches (to me, this is one of the oldest forms of UI).
